This morning I awoke to the sound of Margot crunching on something. That something happened to be my retainer. As in the pink and sparkly retainer I had made when my braces were taken off when I was about 14. Can you even get those things made again??!!My mom's response: "This is just the beginning. They are deadly and very expensive."
What a great way to start a day.

yes! i had my bottom one remade when my teeth started moving back. if you didn't happen to keep the plaster mold they made of your mouth 15 years ago (who the hell keeps those?) it is very expensive.
Okay well that's good to know. Haha, I don't think they even offered me the plaster mold back then. If they did I was probably daydreaming about Justin Timberlake so I wasn't paying attention.
