Fantastic Mr Fox

Fantastic Mr Fox was fantastic. Wes Anderson can do no wrong.

The Small Stakes

One of my favorite places to find inspiration.

Broken English

Have you ever watched a movie and completely identified with it?

"I'm going totally crazy. I quit my job and I went to a witch doctor."

These necklaces are unbelievable. What a great way to jazz up a simple t or wear over a LBD. There's hardly a day in the winter where I go without a scarf and one of these would be a nice alternative.

Check out ROARKE New York here.

A bad day in Paris? That's an oxymoron.

Tiny cigarette books

Cat eye mask

Opium den scented candle... which sounds awesome: "Collapse into a languid, hazy could and submit to smoldering resins, opiates and tobacco fumes"

God bless Simon Doonan

"I can't wait for this recession to be over - it's such a drag. I'm not one of those people who thinks it's brought us to our higher level of consciousness. I just think it's a colossal bore. But boom times or bad times, my job is to create desire."

I'm so glad my BFF lives in Raleigh so I can visit
Jamie's new store!

I'm so happy that her dream became a reality. It's all so inspiring.

Feeling blue

If blue rooms do it for you,
House of Turquoise is your new favorite blog. Tiffany blue, robins egg blue, sky blue... this kitchen...wow.

Clients from Hell

Anyone designer, freelancer or not, will appreciate this.

"We think there’s too much space, can you put all the services we do inside the logo. And if you can - make it 3D too, so it moves when you tilt the paper."

Little Green Notebook

I feel like I've seen this blog before but am so glad I ran across it again. Little Green Notebook is full of great decorating ideas and DIY projects that seem easy enough for anyone to do.

My garage is getting overwhelmed with old lamps, tables and chairs that I'm planning on painting/upholstering eventually. Her office has been a huge inspiration.

Her daughter's room looks straight out out of the pages of Domino.
