My Amazon wish list just keeps growing and growing but I think I've found a book that is a must. the find is a book that helps with the picking and choosing that goes on at antique stores and flea markets. It's filled with photos of all different types of styles (eclectic, modern, hollywood regency, etc.) I love mixing old with new and I get super excited when I find a treasure at an antique shop, maybe this book will help out the treasure hunt!

Are you wearing Chanel?

I love this new ad/film for Chanel no. 5 featuring Audrey Tatou. The whole time I kept thinking, "This reminds me a lot of Amelie but it's probably just because Audrey Tatou is in it." But I was right! It was directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet who also directed Amelie.

I've been a Coco Mademoiselle girl for years (it's become my signature scent) but I love all the Chanel smells, they're all classics. Though no.5 is a bit stuffy for me, maybe it will work better in my older age.

And was just reading The Cut and found out this tidbit: A bottle of Chanel No. 5 perfume is sold every 55 seconds. (Via Telegraph UK)


I can't wait to see Coco avant Chanel with Audrey Tatou as Coco Chanel. Isn't she just absolutely gorgeous? She's like a modern day Audrey Hepburn.

Anna Sui to do GG inspired Target line

According to WWD via The Cut, Anna Sui is the next major designer (after McQueen) to do a line for Target and it's inspired by none other than GOSSIP GIRL. The line will hit stores September 18 and will be available through October 17.

The fug girls never disappoint, "We have faith in her to stay away from Serena's slutty bandage dresses, cheap versions of which always look 500 times sluttier. We could also go without Vanessa's horrible Claire's jewelry." HAHAHAHA we would all hope for that.
